"Our involvement has provided us with many great opportunities to build relationships with representatives of businesses, governments, investment promotion agencies and financial institutions working across CEE. The first edition was a great success. PwC is not only continuing to stay involved for the 2019 edition but expanding the scope of our participation - and I strongly encourage leading organisations to get involved."
I am delighted to be part of the Emerging Europe Awards. The initiative matches what we at GE also aim to create: strong cooperation with local authorities and businesses which have demonstrated excellence in raising awareness, social progress and economic development. Through the awards we truly are supporting the development of the region.
The Emerging Europe Awards opened a new horizon to me, a horizon where young people and youth workers as myself have their say, where our achievements are celebrated, where we are perceived as equal partners on the path of progress of emerging Europe.
This is my first lifetime achievement award and I have very mixed feelings. So let’s call it an award for lifetime achievement so far. I will continue to work, and while and I’m not in a position to make decisions anymore, a couple of weeks ago I became aware that there is now a new position, called influencer. I see myself as an influencer for the future of Europe.
Receiving an Emerging Europe Award is a huge honour. I’ve come as one but I’m here on behalf of tens of thousands.
Winning the Emerging Europe Awards will make Wrocław more popular among professionals and lure talent to our city.
I'm so proud of winning such a prestigious and independent award, especially considering the very high standard of all other nominees in our category.
I am very glad to receive such a prestigious award. We are proud that Solaris is a brand enjoying global recognition and appreciation. The Global Champion of the Year award is a wonderful confirmation of that fact, placing us in the elite group of top enterprises that won in 2018, including giants like Amazon and Siemens.
