Turkey’s MNG to build SPP in Ukraine

Turkish industrial firm MNG will build a solar power plant (SPP) in Bronykivska, northern Ukraine, Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform has reported.

According to a statement from Vitaliy Bunechko, the governor of Ukraine’s Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, the investment of the Turkish company will create 20 jobs.

The solar power plant will run on an annual capacity of five megawatts.

The construction project is also aimed at developing Bronykivska’s social sector and infrastructure, the regional governor added.

The construction is expected to begin in April 2020 and cost five million US dollars.
