Between 10 and 12 June 2015, Emerging Europe organised the VII Warmia and Masuria Economic Forum in Olsztyn for the Warmia and Masuria Regional Development Agency (WMARR), as well as a series of capacity building training sessions for local IPAs across Poland.
Two workshops about investment marketing and promotional materials addressed to representatives of local authorities working in centres of investment and export assistance across the country. This part of the event was organised in partnership with the Polish Agency of Information and Foreign Investment (PAIiIZ/Invest in Poland). The workshops (6×90 minutes and 4×90 minutes) were run by an American expert on FDI strategy and by Andrew Wrobel, Head of Editorial at Emerging Europe.
The Forum included panel discussions featuring experts invited by our team and moderated by Andrew Wrobel. We also organised two accompanying events: one promoting regional food products and the other showcasing investment opportunities in Olsztyn, as well as video coverage of the event and media relations.
“I value the collaboration with the Emerging Europe team, as all elements of the project were delivered timely and in high quality. Their professionalism and dedication were seen every step of the way, said Włodzimierz Szelążek, President of the Warmia and Masuria Regional Development Agency (WMARR).
The event attracted over 200 entrepreneurs, Polish and foreign investors, organisations supporting business as well as representatives of local authorities.
Earlier, in October 2014, Emerging Europe had organised the VI Warmia and Masuria Economic Forum Eastern Poland Go West. Both events were organised with the “Creation and development of the centres of investors’ assistance”.
