“There are significant points of divergence between the two tiers of development in the CEE region: one is the top performing countries, namely the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Then there is the other group of countries such as Croatia, which was suffering from recession for six years and is only starting to recover now or Montenegro,” says Marcin Petrykowski, regional head, CEE, S&P Global Ratings, in an interview with Emerging Europe.
