Bosnian funk rock band announce UK dates

Bosnian band Dubioza Kolektiv – who have recently received international acclaim across Europe, including the UK – have announced a set of UK gigs for the autumn. Known for their recognisable mix of funk rock, rap rock, reggae, ska, dub, alternative rock and Balkan folk, the band’s lyrics talk about Balkan society, politics and life in general, usually sung in Bosnian or English.

Currently on tour in Europe the band, which famously allows its fans to download their albums for free (legally) from their own website, will play 10 shows in the UK and three in Ireland in November.
