Armenia’s foreign debt in decline for first time since 2015

Armenia’s foreign state debt is decreasing for the first time since 2015, the Armenian press has reported.

According to the latest figures published by the Armenian government, the country’s foreign state debt decreased by 2.1 per cent (120 million US dollars) during the last fifteen months.

As of June 30, Armenia’s total debt amounted to 6.92 billion US dollars, with the foreign state debt standing at 4.93 billion US dollars.
