Tesla expects to open stores in Slovakia, Croatia and Serbia by 2020

Electric car manufacturer Tesla is likely to enter the Slovak, Croatian and Serb markets by the end of 2020.

“Hoping to open in Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia and most of Eastern Europe early next year. Finally, we will do Nikola Tesla proud by having his cars in his countries of origin,” wrote Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Twitter, paying tribute to Croat inventor Nikola Tesla.

In May, the company launched its cars in the Czech Republic, as well as opening new service centres in Prague and Warsaw. Furthermore, since August, its Model 3, Model S and Model X cars have been available for order by customers in Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovenia.
