Belarusian tech start-up RocketBody, an ECG-monitoring fitness application for the Apple Watch, has raised one million US dollars of funding, BelarusFeed has reported.
The start-up’s fundraising campaign on KickStarter and IndieGoGo put the company’s value at five million US dollars.
Among the major donors are Gagarin Capital, AltaIR Capital, Bulba Ventures and Quatro Capital.
Founded by Belarusian entrepreneur Timofei Lipsky in 2017 for professional athletes, RocketBody monitors human health conditions by combining ECG readings with artificial intelligence to deliver personalised workout guidance.
According to BelarusFeed, the new funding will be used to improve connection with users and solve monetisation issues.
The new version of the app is now available on ProductHunt.
