GlobalLogic Ukraine reports 32 per cent increase in revenues

GlobalLogic Ukraine, the country’s largest software developer, has reported a 32 per cent increase of its revenues in 2018.

“Ukraine occupies an important place in the regional structure of [our] companies. In the past calendar year, GlobalLogic’s revenue in Ukraine grew by 32 per cent, while the local IT market is growing by an average of 20-25 per cent per year,” Ihor Beda, managing director of GlobalLogic Central and Eastern Europe said, adding that the company’s increased profits will be fully used for business development in Ukraine.

The IT company’s managing director noted that GlobalLogic companies in Croatia, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine grew by 27.6 per cent while 46.6 per cent of the US-based IT firm’s profits were made in the region in 2018.

GlobalLogic has invested 1.5 million US dollars into its 13 development centers across the region. “A significant part of these investments has been engineering talent in Ukraine,” Mr Beda added.
