Estonia’s capital Tallinn has ordered 100 buses powered by compressed natural gas from the Polish manufacturer Solaris. The buses, which will cost a total of 27 million euros, will be delivered from September to November 2020.
The order includes 60 Urbino 12 buses, which can accommodate 80 passengers, and 40 articulated Urbino 18 vehicles, which can carry 150 passengers.
Tallinn has been making use of Solaris vehicles since 2002, and more than 50 zero-emission Trollino trolleybuses already serve commuters in the Estonian capital.
