Office supply retailing company Office Depot Europe is selling its Czech and Slovak subsidiaries to strategic buyer PBS Holding, a leading reseller of office supplies.
Following its acquisition by asset management group AURELIUS in 2017, Office Depot Europe was subject to a comprehensive transformation programme and its CEE business saw its offer extended into adjacent areas such as office furniture, personal protective equipment, managed-printing services as well as cleaning and hygiene products.
Over the last two years, Office Depot Europe’s CEE business managed to grow organically, reaching a strong position in its relevant markets.
Through this acquisition, PBS Group is also expanding its presence in the region which already includes operations in Poland, Hungary and Slovenia.
