NovaPay is the first among Ukrainian non-banks to present its mobile application, in which Ukrainians can instantly open a payment account, issue a virtual card, and immediately start using it.
It became possible due to the extended license of the National Bank of Ukraine; currently, NovaPay is the only Ukrainian fintech company that has received it. A limited beta version is now available for download on Google Play.
In the NovaPay application, users can profitably and conveniently pay for Nova Post services: customers will receive a 20 per cent profit, which can be used to pay for delivery services and post-paid fees. At the same time, all usual money transactions and quick registration are available in the application.
Services that are currently available in the mobile application:
- transfers to cards and accounts;
- placing of the Parcel on credit and payment for it;
- all types of payments: customers can pay for utilities, internet or TV, fines and taxes, mobile services, etc.
- receiving postpaid for parcels;
- sending a transfer from the card to the Nova Post branch;
- issue of NovaPay plastic payment card from Mastercard.
Currently, account opening is functioning, and all payments, transfers, and cash withdrawals up to 100,000 hryvnia are free.
“The launch of the NovaPay application and issuance of cards is a revolution in the Ukrainian financial market. No financial institution has done this yet. This is a story about real speed, convenience, and the reliability of NovaPay services for customers. They will be able to use both a physical NovaPay card and an electronic wallet – Google Pay and shortly Apple Pay,” commented Andrii Kryvoshapko, CEO of NovaPay.
Customers can start using the NovaPay mobile application after easy and quick registration with Diia. Very soon, customers will be able to register at Nova Post offices. They can also order a plastic payment card through the application and get it at the nearest Nova Post branch or parcel locker with free delivery.
Domestic payments and transfers are currently available, although it is not yet possible to pay with the NovaPay card abroad, pay for goods on foreign websites, or pay for the services of companies registered outside of Ukraine.
NovaPay is an international financial service that is part of the Nova group of companies and has been providing convenient, fast, and reliable online and offline payment services for more than eleven years—in more than 3,500 Nova Poshta branches.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the company accounts for 35 per cent of the total volume of domestic remittances. Also, NovaPay is among the largest Ukrainian taxpayers.
