Lithuania’s Apex opens Romania’s first Marriott Courtyard hotel

Lithuania’s Apex Alliance Hotel Management has opened Romania’s first Courtyard hotel in the country’s capital Bucharest following an investment worth 22.5 million euros.

The construction of the hotel took three years, Apex Alliance Hotel Management said in a statement.

The hotel is located in Bucharest’s Floreasca business district and has 259 rooms set over 13 floors, a restaurant, fitness center, underground parking and seven conference rooms which can accommodate a total of 538 people.

Courtyard is a brand of hotels owned by US-based hospitality company Marriott International.

In August, Apex Alliance opened the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bucharest following a 19 million-euro investment.

Apex Alliance Hotel Management operates a number of hotels in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Romania.
