Money Today and Emerging Europe join forces to organise Emerging Europe and the Asian Tigers: Towards 2030, part of the annual K.E.Y Platform global conference

Money Today Media, South Korea’s leading business media platform, has invited Emerging Europe, the leading news, intelligence and community platform focused on Central and South-Eastern Europe, to join its annual K.E.Y. Platform conference.

The media platforms will co-organise a programme discussing the implementation of environmental, social, governance (ESG) and post-Covid business opportunities between the fastest-developing part of Europe and the Four Asian Tigers — the high-growth economies of Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.

“The best opportunities can be found in times of crisis. Rather than wasting a crisis, we should use it as an opportunity to seize opportunities. It is important to seek global collaboration to capture opportunities, and I am very happy to do it with Emerging Europe,” says Jongduck (Drake) Hwang, the Managing Director of the K.E.Y. PLATFORM Secretariat Office, and CEO and President of One Asia Media.

“The Asian Tigers, or Little Dragons, as they are known in Chinese and Korean, have proven that small economies can develop to become global leaders,” says Andrew Wrobel, the Founding Partner at Emerging Europe.

“The main goal of the Towards 2030 project and our collaboration with Money Today is to better connect businesses from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore with the fastest-growing part of Europe — and discuss sustainable, long-term collaboration between the regions. We are excited to embark on that journey together with an excellent partner in South Korea,” he added.

This year, the K.E.Y Platform conference will discuss topics in those areas leaders need to think about to prepare for a new, post-pandemic future. It will cover digital work as a new norm improving productivity, the future of mobility in the green new deal era, the future of science and technology in the next normal era, the future of stakeholder capitalism, and the future of marketing for the MZ generation.

The Emerging Europe and the Asian Tigers: Towards 2030, which also includes a survey and a post-event report, will discuss sustainable trade and investment, healthcare, real estate and logistics.

The Towards 2030 conference will start at 08:25 CEST / 15:25 KST on April 29, 2021, with a fireside chat with the CEOs of the Korea Exchange and the Warsaw Stock Exchange, two capital markets recently upgraded to the developed status. The other sessions will include eminent speakers representing the United Nations Development Programme, PricewaterhouseCoopers and TECHIIA.

The full agenda and registration details are available here.

We invite you to participate in a survey which is being carried out amongst entrepreneurs and business representatives who want to share their views on the opportunities, challenges and threats impacting future political and economic relations between the emerging Europe region and the four Asian Tigers.
