Ukraine partially relaunches railway service in Donbas

Ukrainian national railway company Ukrzaliznytsia has announced that it will restore railway connections to the government-controlled parts of the war-torn Donbas region.

According to the Russian press, four suburban routes will be launched from Volnokhava station to the city of Yuzhnodonbasskaya.

Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reported that Donetsk Railways, the regional arm of Ukrzaliznytsia, and the Joint Forces Operations Headquarters have run checks and prepared the necessary infrastructure.
