Mojio teams up with T-Mobile for Polish smart car deal

Mojio – a leading technology platform and SaaS provider for connected cars – has announced that it has partnered with T-Mobile Polska, to power Smart Car, the brand’s comprehensive connected car service.

“Like Mojio, T-Mobile Poland is an avid supporter of innovation and understands that enabling the next generation of connected experiences not only means delivering great technology, but also leveraging strong partnerships to accelerate time to market,” said Kenny Hawk, CEO of Mojio. “We are honoured to be expanding our relationship with Deutsche Telekom and look forward to supporting this first-of-its-kind connected car service to drivers in Poland.”

As part of the deal, Mojio will deliver a suite of telco-grade connected car solutions – including the company’s leading cloud platform service and mobile apps for iOS and Android – to T-Mobile Polska.

T-Mobile Polska will in turn offer its nearly 11 million subscribers an affordable upgrade, regardless of their car’s make or model.

This Polish deal will be Mojio’s fourth market partnering with the Deutsche Telekom family in Europe, and second in emerging Europe, where it has already deployed with T-Mobile Czech Republic.

“Mojio is a terrific example of a growth company accelerating traction through our strategic investment and cooperation. Their scalable open platform addresses a large important market,” said Vincente Vento, co-founder and CEO of Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners.
