In April 2021, the Warsaw Stock Exchange will celebrate its 30th anniversary. In the three decades since it was launched, it has achieved a great deal, not least being classified as a developed market by FTSE Russell – an achievement that took the Korea Exchange over 50 years. It is now on course to become a global gaming hub, with over 60 gaming companies listed, more than the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the world’s current leader.
In this latest edition of Emerging Europe Talks, Andrew Wrobel speaks with Marek Dietl, CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange since September 2017, about how the bourse is focused on innovation and technology and how it plays a key role in attracting investors to the emerging Europe region through, among other things, its CEEPlus index.
The podcast is also available on Apple, TuneIn, Google, SoundCloud, Anchor, Breaker, Pocket Casts, Overcast, and Radio Public.
