FACC to build new factory in Croatia

Vienna-based aircraft components maker FACC is building a new production facility in Croatia, 30 kilometres west of Zagreb, after having examined different locations in Central and Eastern Europe.

The complex, worth 33 million euros, is expected to be completed by the end of next year and will create 600 new jobs.

“FACC wants to grow and be faster than the market,” said CEO Robert Machtlinger. “We intend to work on strengthening the expertise of our employees, and Zagreb offers us a highly qualified workforce.”
